P.New and Sis DIY Slacker Weekend Lunch

Weekend is always the best days to slack @ home... so slack that sometimes u are too lazy to think of wat to eat downstair... especially u been living in AMK for years... sian liao the food... so weekend is always the best time to DIY!!! yeah... today DIY Slacker Weekend Lunch is wanton mee.... u no need to be a wanton (google the engrish meaning) to make good wanton mee!!! yeah!!!

Wanton - Just buy CP wanton... CP 鲜虾云吞 好吃!!!

Mee Kia - 40cents per ball/roll... 1person 1ball/roll... cheap!!!

Char Siew - Buy from market... call Uncle to slice... he on the phone so happily chop up my char siew while i GASPED!!! but uncle very nice lah... wanna slice another piece for me... but i also very nice and chin chai tell uncle is okay coz eat into stomach also the same!!!
Garlic - diced... to make the soup more fragrant...
Silver Fish aka 银鱼 aka Kun Fish - abit like ikan bilis... but is not dried, fresh small fish... to make soup sweeter... (can use ikan bilis as subsitute)...
Cabbage - vegetable is a must to complete the food group...
Procedure:
Soup
- preheat pot...
- pour little oil and stir fry garlic until golden brown
- put in silver fish and continue stir fry with garlic
- put in soy sauce... and stir fry abit before pouring in water
- Wait for soup to boil then put in cabbage and wanton... close cover and continue cooking under low heat
Noodle
- Boil hot water... put in 1 teaspoon of salt
- put in noodle to cook...
- once noodle is cooked... rinse noodle under cold water
- ready to serve!!!
- add chilli (preferred sambal chilli - chilli and ginger grind together)
- add special sauce (1 tablespoon oyster sauce with 1/4 cup water and 1 teaspoon fried spring onion and microwave for 3mins)
There you go Slacker Weekend Lunch - Wanton Noodle!!! ooh lah lah... ma ma mia!!!~~~
